FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 16, 2026
One day after a new poll showed Independent Bill Hill in a dead heat with incumbent Rep. Nick Begich, the Hill campaign announced it outraised Begich in the third quarter — a stunning financial surge in the final stretch of the campaign.
“We’re all gas, no brakes from here to Election Day,” said Campaign Manager Kevin Groh. “We are outraising and outworking a Republican incumbent in a Trump+13 state, with support from almost 100 Alaskan communities and over 2,500 individual Alaskans — all without taking a dime of corporate PAC money. This race is a toss-up, and on November 3 we’re going to deliver a win for hardworking Alaskans.”
