Fisherman Bill Hill hauls in more than $1.1 million in third quarter

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 14, 2026

Bill Hill, Independent candidate for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, raised $1.17 million in the third quarterly FEC reporting period. Bill has received contributions from more than 2,500 Alaskans across nearly 100 communities across the state.

“I’m proud to have support from communities across Alaska from Kotzebue to Ketchikan to King Salmon to Kenai. We’re building a broad coalition ready to take back this seat for working Alaskans,” said Bill Hill.

The strong fundraising report comes on the heels of a newly published poll showing Bill Hill in striking distance of Nick Begich. Bill’s campaign has been airing more ads than Begich and pro-Begich forces on TV for the past four weeks.

Bill is running to make billionaires and corporations pay their share, so we can lower the cost of fuel and healthcare for Alaskans. Bill has traveled more than 20,000 miles across the state to meet with Alaskans, from Metlakatla to Fairbanks to Utqiagvik.

Alaska’s At Large Congressional district is a top defensive target for Republicans in 2026, with outside groups spending millions defending Begich and President Trump issuing a direct endorsement in the race. In a state where more than 60% of voters don’t identify with either major party, Bill Hill is uniquely suited to overperform and win.
