Carpenters Union Endorses Bill Hill

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America gives Bill Hill their sole endorsement

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 13, 2026

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) formally endorsed Bill Hill in the race for US House. UBC is one of the largest building trades unions in North America, representing over half a million members.

The endorsement decision was driven by a shared mission of improving the standard of living and working conditions of all workers, and a recognition that Bill Hill is the most viable candidate to win the race.

“Bill Hill knows firsthand what it means to work with your hands for a living. He shares our values, and he’s the candidate that can win,” said UBC General President Doug McCarron. “We are going to go to bat for Bill.”

In the last midterm election UBC spent $26 million supporting their endorsed candidates. In Alaska, the Carpenters have a long history of ground-game mobilization, including knocking doors and making calls to drive support for candidates that support hardworking Alaskans.

“I’m honored to be in this fight for hardworking Alaskans alongside the Carpenters. This is a group that knows how to get the job done,” said Bill Hill.
