Bill is running to unrig the system controlled by corporate special interests and billionaire donorsBill Hill remains the only labor-endorsed candidate for Alaska’s seat in Congress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 25, 2026

The Iron Workers District Council of the Pacific Northwest has endorsed Bill Hill in the race for Alaska’s US House seat. The council includes Alaska’s Iron Workers Local #751.

“I started working with Bill Hill in 2023 helping high school students in rural areas get into the Iron Workers union by helping develop a pre-apprenticeship program,” said Iron Workers District Council PNW President Chris McClain. “We believe that Bill Hill has the vision to propel Alaska’s residents into financial security and prosperity.”

With the endorsement, Bill Hill remains the only labor-backed candidate in the race.

“Alaska workers are getting left behind by a system that prioritizes profits over people,” said Bill Hill. “I’m proud to have the support of our local iron workers, and commit to working every day in Congress to get our government focused on working people again.”
