Bill Hill continues to be the only US House candidate with organized labor support

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 14, 2026

Today, the Bill Hill for Alaskans campaign announced the endorsement of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 367, adding to the growing coalition of labor organizations supporting Hill’s campaign for Alaska’s seat in Congress.

“As representatives of skilled plumbers and steamfitters across Alaska, we recognize in Bill Hill a leader who listens to workers, respects the dignity of labor, and advocates for policies that create good-paying jobs while strengthening our communities. His support for apprenticeship programs, workforce development, and responsible energy and infrastructure projects aligns closely with the mission and priorities of UA Local 367,” said Aaron Plikat, Business Manager at Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 367.

The Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 367 represents more than 700 plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC technicians, water and wastewater workers, and natural gas utility workers.

“I’m honored to have the support of the hardworking men and women of Local 367,” said Bill Hill. “Alaska runs on the strength of skilled trades workers who build our communities and keep our state moving. In Congress, I’ll always stand up for workers and protect good union jobs.”

Bill Hill remains the only candidate in the race for US House with endorsements from organized labor, reflecting his focus on building a coalition of working Alaskans.
